TEEN & ADULT PROGRAMMER – The Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a full-time (40 hrs. per week) Teen & Adult Programmer to work weekday hours, with some evenings and Saturdays at the Williams Library (1800 Chester St., Little Rock, AR, 72206). The candidate should be energetic, flexible, and team-oriented with a strong commitment to public service to create and implement programs for teens and adults, while working in a diverse and inclusive environment. Responsibilities include planning in-branch and outreach programs for teens and adults, creating displays, designing printed and digital materials and promotions, working public service desk, answering patron questions, information searching, shelving and assisting with after school crowd control. Excellent communication, technology and customer service skills are required. Must be able to work well with all age groups, and cooperatively with staff and public. Experience with teen programming and familiarity with literature and popular media desirable. Spanish language skills a plus, but not required. Pay starts at $16.47 and includes excellent benefits such as medical, dental, vision, company paid pension, life insurance, paid time off and holiday pay. Submit application and resume to Latina Sheard at williamslibraryjobs@cals.org, with the header Teen & Adult Programmer.
