Congratulations to Lynn Valetutti, ArLA’s August Member Spotlight

2 Aug 2022

Lynn Valetutti, ArLA August Member Spotlight!

Here is what her nominator, Britt Murphy, wrote:

Lynn is a fantastic librarian, director, and leader for all things ArLA.  Her leadership as treasurer of ArLA during hard financial times was critical in keeping the Association afloat.  I witnessed Lynn doing everything from putting together swag bags the night before a conference to staffing the registration desks at conference to trekking out regularly to check an empty ArLA PO box in Little Rock.  She’s one of most dedicated librarians I know – no matter where she has worked, she devotes 150% to that library, including her in current position as director of National Park College’s library.  Lynn’s also extremely funny and fun to be around…a lively conversation is guaranteed at the table where she sits!  Just being around Lynn is a reason to be a part of ArLA.
